I gave it a shot

The charm of this historic property is undeniable, from the unique antique elevator to the cozy billiard room. Staff were incredibly nice, and the location is ideal for exploring. However, I did experience a noise issue from outside. Overall, a delightful stay filled with unique character and a welcoming atmosphere!

Beautiful art, Unique architectural details, Funky atmosphere

The price doubles on weekends, which really takes a toll on your wallet!!! The showers drain poorly, leaving you with a wet bathroom floor every time you use them!!! Plus, the surrounding area has extensive graffiti and homeless folks nearby, which is quite off-putting!!!

My solo stay was delightful. I loved the artwork throughout the hotel, adding character to my visit. Enjoyed a fantastic breakfast in the café and a relaxing evening in the Melody Lounge. Make a reservation for brunch. it’s popular for a reason!
